E-Commerce Survey Officer Training 2024 at Southern Hotel Surabaya

Comprehensive and up-to-date e-commerce data is essential for the government so that the formulation of policies taken is right on target, so that the government makes E-Commerce data collection one of the 2024 National Priority programs. For this reason, BPS is holding the 2024 E-Commerce Survey as a follow-up to the First National Priority Program, namely "Strengthening Economic Resilience for Quality and Equitable Growth".

To support the implementation of the Survey, BPS East Java Province held the 2024 E-Commerce Survey Officer Training at the Southern Hotel Surabaya on September 26-29, 2024. The training, which was attended by all officers from 36 regencies/cities throughout East Java (132 people consisting of 37 supervisors and 95 enumerators), was opened by the Head of General Affairs of BPS East Java Province, Satriyo Wibowo.

The Coordinator of the Price and Distribution Statistics Team of BPS East Java Province, Hadi Suroso had the opportunity to close the training event. In his direction, Hadi advised all officers to be able to explain the purpose and benefits of the data that will be generated from the E-Commerce survey so that respondents in the 2024 E-Commerce Survey are willing to provide data according to actual conditions, and appealed to pay attention to the implementation time according to the schedule and obtain quality data.
