Regional Consultation on GRDP for Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara 2024

East Java Province successfully hosted the 2024 Jabalnusra PDRB Regional Consultation (Konreg) which took place on 9-11 October 2024 at the Harris Hotel, Malang. The activity, which was opened by Adhi Karyono, Acting Governor of East Java Province, presented Puji Agus Kurniawan (Director of Production Balance of BPS RI), Erwin Gunawan Hutapea (Head of East Java BI Representative Office), Agung Widodo (Bappenas) as resource persons and Nugroho Suryo Bintoro (Brawijaya University) as moderator. This activity was also attended by Moh. Edy Mahmud, Deputy for Balance and Statistical Analysis of BPS RI. The number of participants who participated in this activity was 306 people from various institutions, including BPS Provinces throughout Java, Bali, Nusa Tenggara, Bappeda Provinces throughout Jabalnusra, representatives of Bank Indonesia Provinces throughout Jabalnusra, Diskominfotik Provinces throughout Jabalnusra, and BPS and Bappeda Regency/City throughout East Java. The success of this activity is certainly inseparable from the strong consolidation and cooperation between Bappeda, Diskominfo, Bank Indonesia, and BPS. This regional conference is a strategic forum for participants to collaborate and share knowledge in order to improve the quality of sectoral statistics and regional economic policies. Banten Province has been agreed to host the 2025 PDRB Regional Conference.
