Visit of the Secretary General to the BPS of East Java Province

On October 16, 2024, the Main Secretary (Sestama) of BPS RI, Imam Machdi, visited BPS East Java Province, together with Joko Parmiyanto, Director of Statistics Information Systems of BPS RI. This visit was an important moment in strengthening relations between the central and regional BPS, as well as building closeness with BPS East Java Province employees. In the session, Imam Machdi provided an inspiring view of the values in work. He emphasized that at every step in carrying out tasks, there is a higher level than just a method or strategy. "Before the 'Way of Life', there is the 'Principal of Life', namely the principles of life that are the basis of all our actions," he said. These principles, he continued, are the main foundation that must be upheld by every employee in working and serving the public.
