Surabaya, November 8, 2024 – BPS East Java Province held a Discussion on the Results of the Evaluation of Government Agency Performance Accountability (AKIP) 2024 and discussed preparation strategies for 2025. The activity, which took place in the Vicon room on the 2nd floor of BPS East Java Province, was officially opened by the Head of BPS East Java, Zulkipli, and was attended online by all BPS districts/cities throughout East Java.
In his remarks, Zulkipli said that this discussion aims to strengthen BPS performance accountability as part of an ongoing commitment to achieving transparent and responsible governance. The AKIP 2024 evaluation provides a comprehensive overview of the achievements that have been achieved as well as areas that need to be improved to achieve more optimal targets in the coming year. By presenting, Maruli Pane and Afif Rezki Edmidio from the BPS RI Inspectorate as speakers, they conveyed the evaluation and challenges of AKIP in the coming years.
The meeting participants also discussed the challenges and opportunities in implementing AKIP within the scope of BPS districts/cities. In addition, strategic steps were prepared to ensure that the implementation of AKIP 2025 runs in accordance with the principle of accountability and is able to support the improvement of the quality of statistical services.
Through this activity, BPS East Java hopes to strengthen cross-regional synergy and continue to improve the quality of performance management, in line with the vision of AKIP to realize effective and efficient governance.
