East Java Province BPS Ready to Implement 2026 Economic Census
The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) will again implement the Economic Census in 2026. The economic census is an activity once every ten years in years ending in 6 to collect data on business actors throughout Indonesia.
As a form of preparation and readiness of BPS in implementing the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026), BPS held a Technical and Administrative Coordination Meeting for Preparation of SE2026 in Surabaya, 19-21 November 2024. This coordination meeting was attended by BPS representatives throughout Indonesia.
The Main Secretary of BPS, Imam Machdi opened this activity and expressed his appreciation to all BPS staff in implementing the SE2026 Trial this year.
Zulkipli, as the Head of BPS of East Java Province also gave a Welcome Speech at the opening ceremony. Not only that, BPS East Java Province also gave a special performance, namely Flashmob with the theme of the 2026 Economic Census.
This coordination meeting is an important moment to strengthen synergy and design technical steps in making one of BPS's major agendas a success in 2026. Hopefully the implementation of SE2026 can run well, this year is the beginning of coordination and collaboration, for better economic data.
