SHERAZI: Dissemination of Foreign Tourist Data through Public Information Disclosure

BPS East Java Province again held the SHERAZI (Sharing and Education) activity on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, with an interesting theme, namely Dissemination of Foreign Tourist Data Through Public Information Disclosure. This activity aims to strengthen the understanding of BPS employees in East Java regarding the importance of public information disclosure in supporting the dissemination of tourism data, especially related to foreign tourists.

The event, which took place online, was attended by BPS East Java Province and BPS Regency/City throughout East Java. Opening the activity, Pramana Yhoga, Head of the Integrity Zone (ZI) and SDI Team, conveyed the importance of synergy between government agencies in managing and delivering relevant data to the public.

As speakers, Ayu Saulina Ernalita from the East Java Province Communication and Informatics Service (Diskominfo) was present to discuss public information disclosure and Chandra Bakhtiar from the East Java BKKBN Representative Office, who provided a perspective on PPID management at the East Java BKKBN Representative Office which has achieved various achievements.

The SHERAZI activity successfully built a productive dialogue between the resource person and the audience. Through the theme carried, it is hoped that BPS employees in East Java will increasingly understand the role of public information disclosure in increasing the utility of statistical data for the wider community.
