Responsive Development Support, BPS East Java Receives Visit from DP3AK East Java

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of East Java Province received a visit from the Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, and Population Service (DP3AK) of East Java Province on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. This visit aims to coordinate regarding the achievement of performance and planning targets for the Gender Development Index (IPG) and Gender Empowerment Index (IDG) which are the focus of gender-responsive development in East Java Province.

The group from DP3AK was led by the Head of Women's Protection and Family Quality, Ida Tri Wulandari, and was received directly by Ike Rahayu Sri, Head of the Analysis and IPS Team of BPS East Java Province, along with related staff.

In this meeting, the two parties discussed in depth the trends in IPG and IDG achievements, challenges in their implementation, and the strategic role of statistical data in supporting gender-based development planning. Through this collaboration, BPS East Java Province invites all parties to jointly utilize statistical data as a basis for policy making.
