UINSA Statistics Corner Agent Training: Data Services and Statistics Promotion

BPS Jatim once again collaborates with the academic world in improving statistical literacy. This time, through the Statistical Agent training for students of the Sunan Ampel State Islamic University (UINSA) Surabaya, which took place on Thursday, February 6, 2025.

This training was guided by Arih Thoyibatul Izdhar from BPS Jatim, with a focus on: data services and statistical promotion. Students are equipped with an understanding of how statistical data can be accessed, utilized, and socialized to the wider community. In addition, they also gain insight into statistical promotion strategies to increase public awareness of the importance of data in decision making.

With this training, it is hoped that UINSA statistical agents can become an extension of BPS in disseminating statistical information and providing better data services in academic and community environments.
