Bappeda Sumenep Visit to Strengthen Synergy

Bappeda of Sumenep Regency visited the BPS of East Java Province on Thursday (13/2) to discuss the economic conditions of East Java and the description of production indicators in Sumenep Regency. This visit was received directly by Nurul Andriana, Coordinator of the Nerwilis Team of BPS of East Java Province. The discussion began with the presentation of the business process of compiling GRDP as an indicator of regional development. Furthermore, the latest developments in the East Java economy were presented as well as various production indicators that can be used as references in regional development planning, especially in Sumenep Regency. Bappeda of Sumenep Regency conveyed the importance of statistical data in formulating appropriate and evidence-based policies. By understanding economic trends and production indicators, it is hoped that strategic steps can be taken to encourage economic growth in Sumenep Regency.
