Focus Group Discussion (FGD) East Java in Figures 2025

BPS Jatim held an online Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on East Java in Figures 2025 on Thursday, February 13, 2025. This activity was attended by various Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) that act as data producers.

The FGD was opened by Peni Meivita, Head of the BPS Jatim DHPS Team. In her remarks, she emphasized the importance of this activity as a forum to confirm previously submitted data and to delve deeper into the phenomena behind the figures.

The discussion took place in four small commissions, each led by a discussion leader. With this format, it is hoped that the discussion will be more focused and comprehensive, so that it can produce accurate data as material for the publication of East Java in Figures 2025. Through this activity, BPS Jatim continues to strive to ensure that the quality of the statistical data produced is increasingly good and can be a basis for policy making in East Java.
