Abstract
The combined CPI inflation of ten cities in East Java in April was 0.01%, significantly different from the national inflation of 0.15%. Based on the results of monitoring prices in the 10 cities, the inflation this month due to rising prices of food, beverages, cigarettes, tobacco mainly from the non-alcoholic beverage sub-group, the rising prices of the housing category, especially from the sub-group organizing households and rising prices of healthcare groups, especially physical and cosmetic care sub groups. The finished food, beverages, cigarette and tobacco category contributed to inflation with a significant role (2.23%), while the other two categories of housing and health accounted for only 0.09% and 0.52%
