The development of the Consumer Price Index / Jawa Timur Inflation October 2015

Abstract

In October 2015 Jawa Timur experienced a deflation of 0.19 percent. Of the eight cities of CPI in Jawa Timur, four cities experienced deflation and four cities experienced inflation. The highest deflation occurred in the city of Surabaya at 0.34 percent, followed by 0.25 percent Banyuwangi, Jember by 0.05 percent and the lowest deflation occurred in Kediri at 0.04 percent. While inflation was highest in Sumenep 0.15 percent, 0.10 percent Madiun, Malang 0.03 and lowest inflation was recorded at 0.02 percent Probolinggo city.

Of the seven groups of expenditure, spending four groups experienced deflation, and three expenditure groups experienced inflasi.Kelompok expenditures experienced deflasitertinggi are foodstuff by 1.08 percent, followed by clothing group by 0.16 percent, health 0.15 percent, and group transport, communications, and services keuangansebesar 0.01 persen.Sedangkan expenditure groups that inflation is food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.19 percent, followed by housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel by 0.06 percent and education, recreation and sport 0.01 percent.
