Abstract

Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) in East Java in the fourth quarter 2016 amounted to 103.34 means
economic conditions in the fourth quarter 2016 is better than the third quarter of 2016. But the level of optimism
slowed down compared to the third quarter 2016, which reached 108.23. Slowing ITK is very
fair, due to seasonal factors that occur in the fourth quarter 2016 is the feast of Christmas, the big day
religion, school holidays and the New Year effect is not as big as that occurred in the third quarter of 2016
(Fasting Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha).
