Abstract

The Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) of Jawa Timur in Quarter III-2017 was recorded at 110.52, which means that the consumer's economic condition is relatively better compared to Quarter II-2017. However, the optimism level is not as strong as Quarter II-2017 which reached 123.21, or slowed by 12.69 points. This is due to the series of Ramadan and Idul Fitri 1438 H which falls in the second quarter of 2017, so that its influence is felt in that period. Meanwhile, the school holidays and Idul Adha holiday that occurred in the third quarter of 2017, the influence is not as strong as the momentum of Ramadan and Eid.
