Developments of Jawa Timur's Exports and Imports, June 2018

The export value of Jawa Timur in June 2018 reached USD 1.29 billion or down 28.78 percent compared to May 2018. The value compared to June 2017 decreased by 5.66 percent. The cumulative exports from January to June 2018 that came out of Jawa Timur amounted to USD 9.82 billion, an increase of 5.10 percent compared to January-June 2017 period of USD 9.35 billion. The largest non-oil export destination countries during January-June 2018 were Japan with a value of USD 1,690.94 million (18.39 percent), followed by the United States USD 1,214.95 million (13.21 percent) and China USD 948.57 million 10.31 percent). Non-oil exports to ASEAN reached 1,882.51 million (20.47 percent), while the EU reached USD 795.50 million (8.65 percent).
The value of Jawa Timur imports in June 2018 reached USD 1.79 billion or decreased by 25.91 percent compared to May 2018. This figure increased 12.19 percent. The largest non-oil / gas imports from January to June 2018 were China with USD 2,646.64 million (27.41 percent), followed by the United States of USD 687.04 million (7.12 percent) and Singapore at USD 556.73 million (5.77 percent). Non-oil and gas imports from ASEAN group countries reached USD 1,703.28 million (17.64 percent), while non-oil and gas imports from the EU reached USD 792.59 million (8.21 percent).
