Development of Jawa Timur Farmer Exchange Rates June 2019

Jawa Timur's Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in June 2019 rose 0.51 percent from 107.66 to 108.20. The increase in NTP was due to the index of prices received by farmers (It) increased higher than the increase in the price index paid by farmers (Ib). In June 2019, three agricultural sub-sectors experienced an increase in NTP, while the rest experienced a decline. The sub-sectors that experienced the largest increase in FTT occurred in the Food Crop sub-sector by 1.44 percent from 108.64 to 110.20, followed by the Horticulture sub-sector by 0.35 percent from 101.55 to 101.91, and the Fisheries sub-sector by 0.07 percent from 112.04 to 112.12. Whereas the sub-sector experiencing a decline in NTP was the People's Plantation Plant sub-sector by 0.35 percent from 105.24 to 104.88, and the Livestock sub-sector by 0.04 percent from 111.70 to 111.66.
