Foreign tourists visiting East Java through Juanda in July 2019 rose by 8.61 percent

Abstract

Foreign Tourist Visits (tourists) who came to East Java through the entrance of Juanda in July 2019 rose by 8.61 percent compared to June, ie from 23,150 visits to 25,143 visits.
The number of foreign tourists visiting July 2019 decreased by 24.70 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in the same period in 2018 which reached 33,390 visits.
Most tourists in July were Malaysians who reached 6,361 visits, up 23.95 percent, followed by Chinese nationals with 3,054 visits or up 83.09 percent, and Singapore nationalities were 2,186 visits or an increase of 1.86 percent compared to June 2019.
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in East Java in July 2019 reached 60.08 percent, up 2.35 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 5-star hotels (68) of 68.10 percent is the highest ROR compared to the ROR for other star-rated hotels.
The average length of stay of foreign guests at star-rated hotels in July 2019 reached 2.52, down 0.04 points compared to June 2019, which reached 2.56 days. The overall RLMT in July 2019 was 1.66 days, up 0.03 points when compared to June which reached 1.63 days.
