Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rates Jawa Timur (NTP) in November 2019 decreased 0.70 percent from 109.74 to 108.97. The decline in NTP is due to the price index received by farmers (IT) has decreased, while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) has increased.
In November 2019, four agricultural sub-sectors experienced a decline in NTP, while the rest experienced an increase. The sub-sector that experienced the largest decline in NTP occurred in the Plantation Plantation sub-sector by 3.18 percent from 98.27 to 95.15, followed by the Fisheries sub-sector by 1.26 percent from 116.13 to 114.67, the Food Crop sub-sector by 0.55 percent from 116.34 to 115.70, and the Livestock sub-sector by 0.52 percent from 112.49 to 111.90. While the sub-sector that experienced an increase in NTP was the Horticulture sub-sector by 0.46 percent from 102.21 to 102.68.
Of the five provinces in Java that did NTP calculations in November 2019, four provinces experienced a decrease in NTP while one province experienced an increase. The largest decline in NTP occurred in Jawa Timur Province by 0.70 percent, followed by Yogyakarta Special Province by 0.47 percent, Central Java Province by 0.29 percent, and Banten Province by 0.25 percent. While the NTP of West Java Province increased by 0.79 percent.
