The East Java Fishermen Exchange Rate (NTN) in June 2020 increased by 1.64 percent

Abstract

• East Java Fishermen Exchange (NTN) in June 2020 rose 1.64 percent from 93.90 in May 2020 to 95.43 in June 2020. This increase was due to the price index received by fishermen increased by 1.84 percent, more a large increase from the price index paid by fishermen by 0.20 percent.

• The development of NTN in June 2020 against December 2019 (calendar year) decreased by 2.63 percent. The NTN developments in June 2020 against June 2019 (year-on-year) decreased by 2.37 percent.

• Out of the six provinces in Java that calculated NTN in June 2020, three provinces experienced an increase in NTN and three provinces experienced a decrease in NTN. The increase in NTN occurred in East Java Province by 1.64 percent, West Java Province by 1.05 percent, and Banten Province by 0.87 percent. The provinces that experienced a decline in NTN were DKI Jakarta Province by 1.03 percent, Central Java Province by 1.33 percent, and the last was DI Yogyakarta Province with a reduction rate of 1.46 percent.
