Abstract

• Main patterns of trade distribution in 2019 in East Java:

1. Rice: Producers → Distributors → Wholesalers → Retailers → End Consumers.

2. Red chilies: Producers → Distributors → Wholesalers → Retailers → End Consumers.

3. Shallots: Producers → Collector Traders → Wholesaler → Retailer → End Consumers.

4. Breed chicken: Producers → Distributors → Retailers → End Consumers.

• Total trade and freight margin (MPP) in Java

East 2019 of each commodity are:

1. Rice 34.15 percent.

2. Red chilies 56.09 percent.

3. Shallots by 100.57 percent.

4. Chicken meat by 42.11 percent.

• The main pattern of rice trade distribution with the highest total MPP in Java Island occurs in DKI Jakarta Province, red chilies in West Java Province, shallots in East Java Province, and chicken meat in Banten Province.
