Abstract

  • The export value of East Java in July 2021 reached USD 1.69 billion or decreased by 17.75 percent compared to June 2021. This value compared to July 2020 actually increased by 7.33 percent.
  • The value of East Java's imports in July 2021 reached USD 2.13 billion or decreased by 6.25 percent compared to June 2021. This figure increased by 54.83 percent compared to July 2020.
  • East Java's trade balance during July 2021 experienced a deficit of USD 438.91 million. This deficit was caused by a negative difference in the value of trade in both the oil and gas sector and the non-oil and gas sector. The difference in trade value in the oil and gas sector was a deficit of USD 389.12 million, while the difference in trade value in the non-oil and gas sector experienced a deficit of USD 49.79 million.
