East Java Fisherman's Exchange Rate (NTN) in August 2021 increased by 1.31 percent

Abstract

• The East Java Fisherman's Exchange Rate (NTN) in August 2021 rose 1.31 percent from 101.85 in July 2021 to 103.19 in August 2021. This increase was due to the price index received by fishermen rising by 1.34 percent, and the index of prices paid by fishermen rose by 0.03 percent.

• The development of NTN in August 2021 against December 2020 (calendar year) increased by 7.20 percent. The development of NTN in August 2021 compared to August 2020 (year-on-year) increased by 8.33 percent.

• Of the six provinces on the island of Java that calculated NTN in August 2021, four provinces experienced an increase in NTN. East Java Province increased by 1.31 percent, West Java Province increased by 0.96 percent, Central Java Province increased by 0.34 percent, and DI Yogyakarta Province rose 0.24 percent. The ones that experienced a decrease in NTN were Banten Province by 0.31 percent, and DKI Jakarta Province which fell by 0.97 percent.
