Abstract

In July 2022, foreign tourists visiting East Java through the Juanda entrance totaled 6,087 visits. This condition has increased compared to conditions in June 2022.
  • The number of foreign tourists visiting in July 2022 increased by 11,605.77 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in June 2021, which was only 52 visits.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star-classified hotels in East Java in July 2022 reached an average of 56.62 percent, an increase of 2.37 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 4 (four) star hotels is 63.87 percent, which is the highest ROR for other five-star hotels.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for non-star classified hotels in East Java in July 2022 reached an average of 25.78 percent, an increase of 0.54 points compared to the previous month.
  • The average length of stay of foreign guests (RLMT) at star class hotels during July 2022 was recorded at 2.93 days or an increase of 0.17 points when compared to the situation in June 2022 which reached 2.76 days. The overall RLMT in July 2022 was 1.54 days or an increase of 0.08 points when compared to the situation in June 2022.
