Fisherman's Exchange Rate (NTN) in August 2022 was 104.62 or decreased 0.46 percent

Abstract

The Fishermen's Exchange Rate (NTN) in East Java in August 2022 fell 0.46 percent from 105.10 in July 2022 to 104.62 in August 2022.

The development of NTN in August 2022 against December 2021 (calendar year) increased by 1.95 percent. The development of NTN in August 2022 against August 2021 (year on year) increased by 1.39 percent.

Of the six provinces in Java that calculated NTN in August 2022, four provinces experienced an increase in NTN, and two provinces experienced a decrease in NTN. DI Yogyakarta Province experienced an increase of 1.74 percent, DKI Jakarta Province increased by 0.68 percent, Banten Province increased by 0.34 percent, and West Java Province increased by 0.10 percent. The ones that experienced a decrease in NTN were Central Java Province, which fell by 0.10 percent, and East Java Province, which fell 0.46 percent.

In August 2022 the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in East Java fell by 1.09 percent, while the Production Cost and Capital Goods Addition Index (BPPBM) rose 0.22 percent.
