November 2022 Inflation Year on Year (yoy) a combination of eight East Java cities of 6.62 percent.

Abstract

In November 2022 there was year on year (yoy) inflation of 6.62 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 113.57. The highest yoy inflation occurred in Jember at 7.76 percent with a CPI of 115.00 and the lowest occurred in Probolinggo at 5.57 percent with a CPI of 111.44.

Inflation occurred due to price increases as indicated by increases in most of the expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 7.38 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 3.32 percent; the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 2.46 percent; equipment, equipment and household routine maintenance group of 5.18 percent; the health group by 3.83 percent; transportation group of 16.98 percent; the recreation, sports and culture group by 1.97 percent; the education group by 5.05 percent; the group providing food and drink/restaurants by 9.12 percent; and the personal care and other services group of 6.15 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure group that experienced a decrease in index was the information, communication and financial services group by 0.13 percent.

The November 2022 month to month (mtm) inflation rate is 0.32 percent and the November 2022 year to date (ytd) inflation rate is 5.88 percent.

The yoy inflation rate for the November 2022 energy component was 18.09 percent, mtm inflation was -0.03 percent, and ytd inflation was 18.09 percent.

The yoy inflation rate for the food component in November 2022 was 7.21 percent, the mtm inflation was 0.84 percent, and the ytd inflation was 4.21 percent.
