Abstract

The East Java Province TFR of 1.98 is below the Replacement Level.
  • The decline in the Infant Mortality Rate has been quite sharp in the last 50 years, namely nearly 90 percent, to 13.49.
  • There has been a decline in the trend of lifetime migration in the 2010-2022 period after four decades (1971-2010) of increasing.
