Abstract

The East Java Fisherman Exchange Rate (NTN) for April 2023 rose 0.50 percent from 101.71 in March 2023 to 102.22 in April 2023.

The development of NTN in April 2023 against December 2022 (calendar year) fell by 0.28 percent. The development of NTN in April 2023 compared to April 2022 (year on year) fell by 2.37 percent.

Of the six provinces on Java Island that carried out NTN calculations in April 2023, four provinces experienced an increase in NTN, and two provinces experienced a decrease in NTN. West Java Province experienced an increase of 1.58 percent, Banten Province increased 0.73 percent, East Java Province increased 0.50 percent, and DKI Jakarta Province increased 0.02 percent. Those that experienced a decrease in NTN were DI Yogyakarta Province which decreased by 0.34 percent, and Central Java Province which experienced a decrease of 0.39 percent.

In April 2023 the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in East Java increased by 0.28 percent, as did the Production Cost Index and Additional Capital Goods (BPPBM) which increased by 0.15 percent.
