May 2023 Fishermen's Exchange Rate (NTN) was 101.39 or decreased by 0.81 percent

Abstract

The East Java Fishermen Exchange Rate (NTN) for May 2023 fell 0.81 percent from 102.22 in April 2023 to 101.39 in May 2023.

The development of NTN in May 2023 against December 2022 (calendar year) fell by 1.09 percent. The development of NTN in May 2023 compared to May 2022 (year on year) fell by 3.39 percent.

Of the six provinces on Java Island that carried out NTN calculations in May 2023, one province experienced an increase in NTN, and five provinces experienced a decrease in NTN. West Java Province is the only province that experienced an increase in NTN, which was 0.30 percent. Those that experienced a decline in NTN were the Provinces of DKI Jakarta and Central Java Province which each fell by 0.11 percent, Banten Province decreased by 0.79 percent, East Java Provision fell 0.81 percent, and DI Yogyakarta Province which experienced a decrease of 2. .69 percent.

In May 2023 the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in East Java rose by 0.66 percent, as did the Production Cost Index and Additional Capital Goods (BPPBM) which increased by 0.24 percent.
