Abstract

In September 2023, there were 25,593 foreign tourist visits to East Java through the Juanda entrance. This condition has improved compared to conditions in August 2023.
The number of foreign tourist visits in September 2023 increased by 179.64 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in September 2022 which amounted to 9,152 visits.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star-classified hotels in East Java in September 2023 reached an average of 53.91 percent or an increase of 2.39 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 4 (four) star hotels is 56.71 percent, which is the highest ROR compared to other star hotels.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of non-star classified hotels in East Java in September 2023 reached an average of 24.11 percent or decreased by 0.07 points compared to the previous month.
The average length of stay for foreign guests (RLMT) at star-classified hotels during September 2023 was recorded at 1.42 days or a decrease of 0.56 points compared to August 2023. The overall RLMT in September 2023 was 1.44 days or a decrease of 0.09 points when compared to the situation in August 2023
