East Java Province's exports in August 2024 amounted to USD 2.33 billion or decreased by 3.36 percent compared to July 2024

Abstract

The export value of East Java Province in August 2024 was valued at USD 2.33 billion or decreased by 3.36 percent compared to July 2024. This value, compared to August 2023, actually increased by 37.01 percent. Non-oil and gas exports in August 2024 reached USD 2.31 billion or an increase of 1.59 percent compared to July 2024. This value, compared to August 2023, also increased by 36.07 percent. Meanwhile, oil and gas exports in August 2024 reached USD 18.01 million or experienced a significant decrease of 86.68 percent compared to July 2024. This value actually increased compared to August 2023, namely 1,124.29 percent. The import value of East Java Province in August 2024 reached USD 2.66 billion or decreased by 0.78 percent compared to July 2024. This value compared to August 2023 actually increased by 12.74 percent. East Java Province's non-oil and gas imports in August 2024 reached USD 2.06 billion or an increase of 4.15 percent compared to July 2024. Meanwhile, compared to August 2023, this value increased by 3.97 percent. Oil and gas imports in August 2024 reached USD 597.69 million or decreased by 14.68 percent compared to July 2024. This value actually increased by 58.84 percent compared to August 2023.
