The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) for Jawa Timur Province in October 2024 was 111.32 or down 0.26 percent

Abstract

The East Java Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in October 2024 fell by 0.26 percent from 111.61 to 111.32. The decline in the NTP was due to the price index received by farmers (It) falling by 0.02 percent while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) rising by 0.24 percent.
In October 2024, three agricultural sub-sectors experienced a decline in the NTP and two other sub-sectors experienced an increase in the NTP. The sub-sector that experienced the deepest decline in the NTP was the Food Crops sub-sector by 1.03 percent from 114.35 to 113.17, followed by the Livestock sub-sector by 0.35 percent from 104.03 to 103.67. and the People's Plantation Crops sub-sector by 0.28 percent from 114.66 to 114.34. Meanwhile, the sub-sector that experienced the highest increase in NTP was the Horticulture sub-sector by 3.73 percent from 114.92 to 119.20, followed by the Fisheries sub-sector by 0.39 percent from 96.35 to 96.72
