Abstract

The publication of East Java People's Welfare Indicators 1991-1992 is the fourth publication of a similar kind published by the Statistics Office of East Java Province. The purpose of this publication is to get an overview of the level and development of the welfare of the people of East Java from year to year. However, due to the breadth of the fields that should be covered and the unavailability of standard quantitative measures in the social field, the purpose of this publication is not fully satisfactory.
