Brief Review of the 1995 Inter-Census Population Survey (SUPAS) of Jawa Timur Province

The 1995 Inter-Census Population Survey (SUPAS 95) is one of the population surveys that is the mainstay of BPS to meet the needs of population data on a regional and national scale. A similar survey has been held three times in East Java. The first was carried out in 1976, the second in 1985. The third SUPAS in 1995 was intended to meet the needs of population data between the 1990 Population Census and the 2000 Population Census. This publication is a summary specifically to meet very urgent needs, while More detailed publications are still in progress. In this publication, the trend of various characteristics of the population from 1971 to 1995 is described more, with the aim that the contents of this book play a greater role in various planning.
