Abstract

Publication of Consumer Price Statistics 4 cities in East Java in 2001, is a continuation of previous publications. This publication is intended to meet the increasing demand for consumer price data needed recently. Consumer price data is collected with the purpose to calculate the consumer price index number of 4 cities in East Java, the data presented is the type of goods collected Weekly, 2 Weekly and Monthly, while the type of goods and services collected quarterly and semester are not presented. Selection of the item type of goods presented by considering that the data series is good enough, and the goods are widely consumed by people in East Java.
