Analysis of Agricultural Census Results in Jawa Timur 2003

In order to increase the productivity of the agricultural sector, the government is actually trying to revitalize the agricultural sector, through various development programs that have been and will be implemented. In order for these efforts to be optimally successful, the provision of comprehensive, accurate and up to date agricultural sector data is indispensable as a basis for planning and evaluating the results of the implementation of these revitalization programs. To meet the need for agricultural data, the Government through the BPS, has carried out the Agricultural Census in 2003 (ST'03) in all regions of Indonesia, including East Java Province. As a way to be more helpful to users, especially the government, in utilizing the data from the implementation of ST03, the BPS of East Java Province compiled an analysis of the results of the implementation of ST03. This publication contains an analysis of the profile; cost and revenue structure; and the socio-economic conditions of household businesses in Palawija, Plantation, Horticulture and Livestock in East Java.
