Abstract

One source of data that can be used to monitor the progress of regional-based development is the Village Potential (Podes) implemented before the Census activity. The latest Podes data is Podes 2014, which accompanies the 2016 Economic Census activities. The Coastal and Non-Coastal Area of Jawa Timur 2014 is a form of data utilization sourced from Podes. In summary this publication produced typology that distinguishes coastal villages, non-coastal villages, coastal cities and non-coastal cities.
