Labor Force Condition in Jawa Timur Province August 2017

This publication contains tables of the labor force situation in Jawa Timur which was obtained from the second semester of the 2017 National Labor Force Survey (NLFS). The target sample size of the 2017 August NLFS was 20,000 households, with intention to provide estimation down to regency/municipality. This publication uses the weighting results of population projections for 2010-2035. In order to maintain data series, most of the tables presented in this publication are similar to previous publications, which are described by sex (male and female) and region (urban and rural). The data presented in the tables covers population aged 15 years and over. In addition, this publication is also supplemented with labor force data series for 2013 – 2017, and executive summary. It should be a concern of data users that the National Labor Force Survey of August 2016 can not provide data at regency/municipality level because of insufficient sample size. Therefore, there is no details per regency/municipality for data/tables of August 2016. Furthermore, this publication presents the Standard Error and the Relative Standard Error of some variables that provided by NLFS August 2017 that can enrich the statistical consideration to analize those variables.
