East Java Human Development Index 2018

The publication of the Human Development Index 2018 is part of the efforts of BPS in the Province of East Java in order to look broadly at the problem of the welfare of the population of East Java Province by representing it into a magnitude of the Human Development Index.
Please note that this publication presents new method HDI figures. In calculating the HDI a new method has been made several changes and adjustments to the HDI both the indicators used and the calculation techniques. So hopefully the new method HDI figures are more valid and relevant in measuring human development achievements.
