Abstract

The Executive Report on the State of the East Java Province Workforce 2019 is one of the manpower publications produced by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of East Java Province. This report contains employment indicators and brief reviews that refer to the concept of Labor Force recommended by the International Labor Organization (ILO).
The data presented comes from the results of the 2018 and 2019 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas). Every year Sakernas is held simultaneously throughout Indonesia. It is hoped that the manpower information presented in this publication can be used to monitor the dynamics of employment in East Java which will become the basis for planning and evaluating development outcomes, both in the economic and social fields.
