Abstract

In a series of development processes starting from planning, continuous monitoring of progress and seeing the results of development evaluations according to or not as planned, it must always be based on data. One of them is socio-economic data which is very much needed to support the series of development processes. The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) which aims to collect socio-economic data for the population of East Java with a household approach, is appropriate to be used as a reference for supporting data in development planning and evaluation. One of the sectors in development planning, namely the housing sector, uses Susenas data to produce several indicators that describe housing conditions in East Java.This publication is expected to provide important information quickly and easily for data users, as well as policy makers in the housing and settlement sector. Thus the targets and targets of housing and settlement development can be planned.
