Abstract

The main goal of development is to realize the welfare of the people. To achieve this goal, the Government carries out development programs that are launched, comprehensive, targeted and integrated. In its implementation, indicators are needed that can reflect the level of people's welfare.
The publication of "People's Welfare Indicators for East Java Province 2021" presents the indicators in question. The data used comes from BPS and secondary data from other agencies, such as the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Health. In more detail, BPS data comes from the results of the Susenas, Sakernas, IDHS and the results of the Population Census.
