East Java Fisheries Statistics 2020

East Java has marine and coastal areas spread over 22 regencies/cities which have very large and diverse fishery potential. The fishery potential that is owned is an economic potential that can be utilized for the welfare of fishermen or fish cultivators or the community in general.In an effort to make optimal and sustainable use of fishery resources in East Java, statistical data is needed that is able to describe the condition of fisheries in East Java. To meet the data needs, the Central Statistics Agency conducts Fisheries Statistics Survey which is carried out regularly every year. Data from the survey are presented in the form of publications containing fishery reviews, graphs and tables detailed by Fisheries Port (PP), Fishing and Aquaculture Companies.With the publication of this publication, it is hoped that it can help stakeholders from the government, businessmen, academics and the community in making policies to improve people's welfare and maintain the sustainability of fishery resources.
