Executive Report on the State of the Labor Force in East Java Province Volume 20, 2024

The 2023 East Java Province Labor Force State Executive Report is one of the Employment Publications produced by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of East Java Province. This report contains employment indicators and a brief review that refers to the Labor Force concept which has been recommended by the International Labor Organization (ILO).The data presented comes from the results of the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) in August 2022 and 2023. Every year, Sakernas is held simultaneously throughout Indonesia. It is hoped that the information regarding employment presented in this publication can be used to monitor employment dynamics in East Java, which will become the basis for planning and evaluating development results, both in the economic and social fields.
