Price of Building Material and Construction Commodities in East Java Province 2023

Publication of Building/Construction Material Commodity Prices for East Java Province 2023 is an annual publication published by the East Java Province Central Statistics Agency. The data presented in this publication is wholesale price data at the district/city level in 38 districts/cities in East Java Province as a result of the Construction Cost Price Survey (SHKK) which is collected every quarter. The data contained in this publication includes price data for the third quarter of 2022, the fourth quarter of 2022, the first quarter of 2023, and the second quarter of 2023. This data is used to calculate the Construction Cost Index (IKK) for 2023. Construction Cost Index (IKK) is an index that describes the level of construction costs of a district/city compared to the reference city. The reference city for calculating IKK in 2023 is Makassar City, which has been used as a reference city since 2021. IKK is obtained from the results of the Construction Cost Price Survey (SHKK) which includes prices for building/construction materials, rental prices for heavy construction equipment, and wages for construction services. . The IKK calculation was carried out for the first time in 2002. Starting in 2013, SHKK implementation was carried out quarterly, namely January, April, July and October, which was carried out in all districts/cities in Indonesia.
