Abstract

Gender-disaggregated data for various indicators is one of the important data needs in development planning. Primarily for equalizing development targets and results. The availability of disaggregated data, especially for large provinces such as East Java, is absolutely necessary. Disaggregated data for East Java Province related to population, education, health, employment and household socio-economics based on gender composition can be seen in the publication of Women and Men of East Java Province 2023. The data presented in this publication comes from the Population Projection (SP), National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), and National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas), which are data collection activities carried out by BPS. The presentation of data is packaged in simple graphs and reviews so that it is easy to understand by data users and the public.
