Current Issue Analysis: Big Data Utilization Study in 2024

Big Data is one of the new data sources that is widely used today. Along with the advancement of science and technology, the presence of Big Data is the answer to revealing phenomena that occur in society quickly and up to date. The preparation of the publication of the Analysis of Current Issues of the Study of Big Data Utilization in 2024 aims to provide information on the utilization of Big Data along with its complete analysis. The information that will be produced and reviewed by utilizing Big Data includes studies in the fields of economics and employment. Furthermore, this information is expected to be a study material towards an evidence base of official statistics for social and economic indicators in East Java. Specifically, the presence of this publication also answers the challenges of the development of Big Data utilization by reviewing several aspects. Therefore, this publication is an initial study of the use of Big Data which in the future is expected to be able to become an approach or proxy in order to quickly estimate statistical indicators.
