Indicators for Sustainable Development Goals for East Java Province 2023

On September 25 2015, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were declared or what is known as the Sustainable Development Goals (TPB). These SDGs consist of 17 goals and 169 targets that summarize development plans to achieve prosperity global. As an international agreement in the field of development, TPB promotes journey towards sustainable development, including economic, social and environment. In the last eight years, Indonesia has taken steps to implementing the 17 SDGs/TPB goals into its national development plan. One factor Crucial to the success of implementing the TPB in Indonesia is the availability of data comprehensive, ongoing, and accessible to all parties. This is possible all stakeholders to jointly monitor and evaluate SDG achievement. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS), as a provider of basic statistics, plays an active role in supporting the government to achieve SDG success by providing appropriate data, neutral, and always current. One example is the efforts of the East Java Province BPS in presents information related to the TPB at the regional level, which is presented in published documents entitled "Sustainable Development Indicators for East Java Province in 2023".
