Women and Men of Jawa Timur 2024

This publication is compiled to present sex-disaggregated data as gender statistics supporting development efforts. It provides various indicators that illustrate the conditions and roles of women and men in East Java Province, covering aspects such as population, education, health, and socio-economic factors.The data presented in this publication are sourced from the National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas), the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas), the Population Projection of Indonesia based on the 2020 Population Census (SP2020), as well as various other sectoral data sources. It is hoped that this publication can serve as a reference for policymakers, academics, researchers, gender issue observers, and the general public who are concerned with gender-responsive development in East Java. The data are presented through charts and brief explanations to ensure ease of understanding for data users and the wider community.
