Literacy Improvement Workshop by BPS East Java Province

BPS East Java Province successfully held a Workshop on Improving Literacy in Dissemination and Services on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. This activity was opened directly by Zulkipli, Head of BPS East Java Province, and attended by journalists and statistical agents from various regions.

This workshop aims to improve data user literacy in understanding various indicators that have been released by BPS East Java. Participants are invited to explore how to read and interpret statistical data released periodically by BPS, such as economic, social, and demographic indicators. It is hoped that journalists and statistical agents who participate in this activity can be more accurate in conveying information to the public, so that statistical literacy in East Java will increase.
