East Java Achieves 3rd National Rank in Refreshing Survey of Construction Price Expenses

BPS throughout East Java Province won 3rd place in the 2024/2025 Construction Price Survey (SHKK) Refreshing Activity.

The refreshing activity was held by the Directorate of Price Statistics of BPS-RI online on October 3-4, 2024. This activity was attended by all activity managers (PJK) and SHKK 2024/2025 officers, both from BPS employees and statistics partners and was attended together at each district/city BPS.

The purpose of the 2024/2025 SHKK Refreshing is to update the concepts and definitions in the implementation of SHKK. The hope is to improve the quality of data collection on commodity prices, rents, and wages in the construction sector which are the main components in calculating the Construction Price Index (IKK).

A total of 205 PJK and SHKK officers from BPS throughout East Java from a total of more than 2000 participants participated in this activity. The Post-test results at the end of the activity obtained an average score of participants from East Java reaching 11.15 (on a scale of 12) and placing East Java Province as the 3rd best province out of 38 provinces in Indonesia.

Hopefully this achievement is in line with the improvement in the quality of price data in East Java Province to realize a golden Indonesia.
